Mine are currently leaning to praise and thanksgiving for salvation as I look forward to the day of meeting our Lord. Either way, its all in praise & honor. I'm sure that as a whole we both are thankful for the blessings in this life and do look forward to that meeting in the air. It interests me to see the different perspectives that we go through in our worship. |

But a well sung praise song is great to hear. I've seen a good song with a good rendition bring tears and conviction to people. As long as the Lord is the focus great things happen. I'm getting more into Christian Country music, but I still shy away from Christian Rock. For me that music takes away from the message and the worship. But if you can truly keep focused on God in your Christian Rock, then go on and make a joyful noise onto the Lord! |

| thevine | Jun 23, 2004 9:45pm | | Amazing Grace is always great. I usually like more contemporary ones though like Our God is an Awesome God, Shout to the Lord, Here I Am to Worship, You Are My King (Newsboys) and I could go on and on. I love to praise. I put on a CD in my car and sing along with it. I'm not a very good singer, but I love to sing and praise the Lord. |

He writes truly wonderful and anointed worship music. Difficult to choose a favorite, but there's one called "Heavenly Touch" on his most recent CD that always gets me. His ministry site is at getdownministries.com [getdownministries.com]

Where to start?
God of Wonders for sure
Shout to the Lord
Testify to Love
Sing Over Me
Lakewood church has been producing some awesome music, and of course I love Hillsongs stuff. Michael W's worship album is the best! :) I also like Robin Mark, Passion, Matt Redman...on & on I go :)))
I am a part of the backup worship team and love to worship our Lord! ;) |
